Two upcoming Apple iPhones may have the stamp of Steve Jobs, the company's revered founder and former CEO. This was accidentally revealed by San Francisco district attorney George Gascon, who recently met Apple's liaison to the government Michael Foulkes about security features in the company's upcoming gadgets.
A report in SFExaminer said that Gascon spoke to Foulkes to discuss the increase in mobile phone theft in the city. During the conversation, the two discussed the process of creating a kill-switch technology for Apple devices.
The Apple liaison revealed that the two next-generation iPhones have already been developed. He also said that they were made before current CEO Tim Cook's reign started. Cook was preceded by Steve Jobs, who passed away in October 2011 soon after the launch of iPhone 4S.
Talking about his meeting with Apple's government liaison Foulkes, Gascon said, "He did most of the talking. It was incredible. He would just go on and on, one subject to the next. It was hard to follow. It was almost like someone who's been trained in the art of doing a lot of talking and saying nothing."
According to current rumours, Apple is working on two iPhones that are expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2013. While one smartphone is expected to take the mantle of the company's flagship device, the other is expected to be a cheaper device that will have a plastic body and smaller screen.
